Monthly Faye Card - April 2021

The need for downtime, press pause and relax awhile. Create an altar or sacred space. Visit a historic site or monument.

This card pretty much speaks for itself! Rest. After dealing with some major energy in March you now need to balance it out with some downtime. That being said, it will still be quite a productive and satisfying month in terms of tasks accomplished and things set in motion. However, Spirit encourages you to pace yourself. Anything you dealt with and shifted in March is now integrating and that will require some stillness and quiet time. Find it where you can. Get out in nature when weather permits and clear your head and aura. This card represents earth element, supporting a grounded and practical energy. It will be a good month for goal setting and establishing new routines, or reviving current ones.

I'm shown people going through closets and garages, decluttering and doing a big spring clean. This is a great time to purge things that you've been holding onto that don't resonate anymore. Spirit says many people have accumulated things that no longer serve a purpose or are no longer needed. If you have items that are just taking up space and don't hold beneficial energy anymore it's time to donate them or let them go. You will feel a pull to lighten the load, and when you clear your space, you free up your energy as well. If you are struggling to let go of something you know you don't need, ask why. That will be a key moment and brilliant opportunity to connect with emotional attachments you may have, recognize them, accept them, and let them go, healing them where necessary. 

This whole year calls for continued adaptation but this month in particular calls for practicing the art of non-attachment. The more you move forward with an open mind and grateful heart the more miracles await you. Simplify your life. You may notice the number signs 123 and 1234 popping up to remind you of this message. What really matters? Is your way of living in alignment with your heart and core values? This is where the art of simplifying and non-attachment closes the gap, more closely aligning your inner and outer worlds in your favour. I'm reminded of one of my favourite Bob Marley quotes: "Don't gain the world and lose your soul; wisdom is better than silver or gold."

Choose health. This is another strong message Spirit shares this month, with a focus on the mental and physical. This is a supportive time to take a break from social media. Spirit reminds me of another favourite quote of mine by Denzel Washington: "Just because you don't share it on social media, doesn't mean you're not up to big things. Live it and stay low key. Privacy is everything." Spirit isn't saying to fully disengage but rather to reflect and refresh. You may feel guided to limit your time on your devices, and\or to clear out old photos for a refresh, or perhaps start anew with a fully clean slate. Trust your gut and do whatever feels right for you.
