I had fun with the blog post for this week. I channel the elementals on a regular basis and they use a lot of the same words repetitively. Here's a list of the top 10 words they most often use and love. As well as a little message or description from them alongside each word.
I was also curious how they themselves would define an elemental. I asked and they all shared different answers in simple, short and sassy elemental style. A couple of noteworthy traits before you read on, the elementals talk fast, and they don't talk over one another, but they don't pause in between either. You'll find one answer flows immediately into the next.
Me: How would you describe an elemental?
Elementals: A necessity, something of profound essence.
A magic maker!
A believer in and champion of the greater good.
Earth Mother's child and devotee.
A benevolent being often confused with being dark or dangerous.
A steward of the earth, a bringer of the light.
A friend, if treated correctly.
This week's energy theme has asked you to evaluate your definition of support. Have you been asking for support but not recognizing it? Are you holding an expectation of what form your support needs to take? Here's an example, let's say you're asking for support with your finances and abundance. You look at it and decide you need your workload to increase in order to earn x amount of dollars by x date so that's the support you want. But the universe sees that there is greater financial abundance for you with a side project you're working on. So rather than up your workload the universe supports you with the gift of time to finish your project. You may be surrounded by support but still feel a lack.
When I begin a healing session I always set the same intention, to address and shift whatever is in the highest good of the client, so that we can create as much strength, balance, and harmony as possible. Clients are often surprised how by the end of the session their questions got answered without having to ask them. This is because spirit knows where to go first. The human mind is limited and wants to fixate on questions but that just gets you talking in circles and keeps you stuck on the surface. The soul knows where to dig deep to create the most supportive shift. I'm not interested in spending an hour validating a client's intuition for them or giving them their insights. I'm invested in spending an hour strengthening a client to develop their own intuition to the point where they won't need to seek validation because they can confidently connect with the insights within themselves. The latter is far more supportive to a client but it's a perfect example of how some would feel unsupported if they aren't ready to make the shift and just want someone to do their work for them. For the rest of the week/end challenge yourself to recognize and appreciate the various forms of support in your life. Thank spirit for the unconditional support of the divine and you'll see more of it come into awareness. Divine trust isn't enough because you can have ample trust but be sitting in it. You need to action your trust so you are utilizing it. Here's a channelled message from my new moon ceremony this week.
Channelled message: Support can appear to be a tricky thing because you may feel or think you are lacking support when in truth you can't see it because it's taken on an unexpected form. Support isn't something you need to call in for it's always there. It's something you affirm and open up to in divine faith and trust. If you were to dictate what form your support should take you'd surely be disappointed. Spirit always supports your highest good. Sometimes you can see what that is and other times it may appear tricky. But it is always true and divine in nature. You are never alone. Spirit is ever-present. Support is often measured by stability but often the most unstable times hold the greatest support.
The card pulled on Monday for this week showed an emphasis on rest, pacing yourself, and honoring any ebbs. These ebbs are a vital part of your abundance in action as they give you time to sit, think, feel and connect the dots. And this important processing is what's been happening for many of you this week. Have you ever noticed as soon as things get quiet you start to panic and worry? Maybe you feel the need to fill that space and waste your downtime trying to get back to being busy. But busy doesn't equal abundance. A focused intention, trust, and guided action do.
This week was a gentle but significant clearing of old patterns of the busier the better, and a beautiful breakthrough into the power of reflection. Stillness is a gift that can so easily be taken for granted. And we often ask for time or lament over how we could accomplish things if we just had more time, but actually honouring that time when it presents itself can be a real challenge. You can fully connect with the magic of your self-healing ability when you are willing to simply acknowledge a feeling, sit and be present with it, connect with spirit, and seek the source of the feeling. It's like watching a bunch of floating light particles come together before your very eyes. Before you know it, you're staring at one big orb, fully illuminated. I live for these moments, Elliott and I each enjoyed one of them this week and it's a spiritual high. This week's energy theme reminded you of the importance of curiosity and self-examination. And our elementals are starting to chat away so here they are...
Channelled message: Speaking of self-examination, here's something else you can expect to see in 2018, people who are wanting others to give them their answers instead of wanting to learn how to find the answers in themselves will experience disappointing interactions and find themselves engaging in unhealthy client/practitioner relationships that offer more lessons than help. This is a time where you are being pushed to realize the full force of your own potential, and guided to work it. That's where you'll taste the real nectar of life, where you'll enjoy the true pleasures of enlightenment. There are many people who can be helpful and offer guidance but seek first within and then you'll truly attract the support in the right form and practitioner without. Any disempowerment and boundary issues in client/practitioner relationships will be magnified to bring this to the surface for healing. Abundance is tied to your heart center, your self-love and well being. It's nice to be in the hustle and bustle sometimes, it's also nice to sleep. This week's energy wanted you to self-examine and ask, why? Why are you so eager to fill that space of time? Because it's necessary or because you're scared? Maybe you don't want to hear an answer? Your worthy self will bask in the glow of rest and reflection. You can't consistently work hard if you aren't balancing with ample rest. This energy theme of rest and reflection helped to lead you inward, to heal old patterns, to release old pressures, and to connect you with yourself and your potential. Remember that when you listen and ask questions, you will receive your answers. And abundance in all its glorious forms will flow. This weekend keep up the good work and practice being your own inner detective! Why this symptom? Why this feeling? You can't find the treasure if you don't dig.
This week has seen people addressing held emotions and suppressed hurts around not feeling seen for who they really are. If you feel you aren't being seen by the people in your life in the way you would like you often turn it inward where it manifests as low self love, low self esteem, and body image issues. Your inner child may appear lonely and sad with questions surfacing such as, Why can't they see me? And, Why don't they love me for me? But your breakthrough this week is remembering that you are your own spiritual parent. And the more you grow yourself and become your own authority, the more authentic your presence will be. As an empath it's all too easy to feel misunderstood. But the gift in this is to grow your authentic self. Can you observe yourself and be your authentic self no matter who you find yourself with, or what environment you find yourself in? It's easier said than done. As an empath you are highly aware of the feelings of others and you can readily sense disapproval, criticism and judgment. This is why developing your self-connection is essential. So that no matter what you are sensing or feeling, you remain strong in your authentic self. This allows you to honour other's journey and process without being wounded or negatively affected by it.
I'm certainly guilty of having done this in the past. I've held back on sharing things and fully expressing myself knowing I would make others uncomfortable because it's unfamiliar to them, and sensing what they expected or wanted rather than just honouring my own voice. But in doing so, I also did myself and the others involved a disservice. Because if I'm editing myself or holding back to prioritize someone else's feelings or comfort, I'm no longer fully present and authentic for myself. So how can they see me for who I truly am? And more importantly, the opportunity for learning, growth, healing, and acceptance gets limited. Because what challenges us has the power to change us. Can you love and strengthen yourself enough to get comfortable in the uncomfortable? To be okay feeling misunderstood or misperceived? Because let's face it everyone's perception is divinely different because we are all at different points of growth and vibrating at different frequencies. Can you see the beauty in that instead of feeling hurt? Take what you've learned and integrated this week and challenge yourself to remain in your authentic energy despite registering feelings of judgment, disapproval, and fear. If you can do this you allow room for growth, healing and greater love for everyone involved. It will mean a shift in the dynamic of your relationships, it may mean implementing some boundaries, but it's wonderful practice for authentic expression.
You might be working on this and find you are struggling with being more aggressive than assertive at first. You are learning to flex a new muscle so take your time and be understanding with yourself and others. The term you want to focus on is 'loving assertiveness.' It's not about being defiant, pushing back, biting or aggressive. It's about honouring, listening, patience, and honest communication. Sometimes this will be easy and flow, you'll be able to think before you speak and find the right words, and other times it might be more emotional and not as easy. But whichever avenue it takes it's affording the chance for more authentic relationships that are rooted in respect. In my workshop, one of the tips I teach is to 'look past for peace.' And what I mean is to look past the surface words of something upsetting that is said to see what's underneath it. Where is it coming from? Is pain being masked as anger? Is fear being masked as control? For example, let's say you're visiting with a group of friends or family, you're sharing something of sincerity and value to you and you notice someone suddenly gets up and leaves the room. Is it truly a reflection of you that you need to take personally, or can you just observe that something you've said has triggered or challenged that person and leave them to their own process while remaining true to your own?
The elementals encourage you to make 2018 your year of self-honouring. We hear the term 'be yourself' all the time, but the energy behind the words is what matters most. And truly being yourself requires deep commitment, dedication, spiritual strength, and a humble heart. Take it from me, who's grown from a blissfully naive girl with no boundaries, who cared more about the lives of others than they did themselves, into a strong, assertive, confident, self-loving woman who honours her boundaries guilt-free. And this is why I'm so passionate about teaching my workshop because the sole focus is helping you to grow your inner authority from a place of divine love while developing your ability to self-heal. I get to equip people with resources that last them a lifetime, pretty damn cool if you ask me! So cheers to continuing to shed the skin that hides the beautiful and rare gem that you are. Because you deserve to shine freely and relax in the universal trust that the right energies always resonate. And though it won't always feel good, you'll be able to appreciate the opportunity within any opposition. This is your time to journey from wounded to worthy.
Here's a poem I wrote years ago that fits perfectly with today's blog:
If You Knew
If you knew what you were you would know,
Your God’s perfection, a constant glow,
Beautiful, graceful, confident and proud,
Joyously living your life out loud,
If you knew what you were you would know,
You possess the power to stir each heart you behold,
To teach, inspire, create and heal,
You would know your kind heart and stunning appeal,
If you knew what you were you would know,
You’re all that you dream, you’re all that you need,
Every desire perfectly packaged in thee.
