A career in the arts. Creativity and music will soothe your soul. Don't be afraid to stand out, march to the beat of your own drum.

This month you may feel like you are breaking in a new pair of shoes. As good as they look (and will ultimately feel) they need to be broken in. This is true for your energy and the new rhythm you've stepped into. It's well deserved; in some cases hard-fought, and despite ultimately bearing new fruit, like everything in life, it requires adaptation.

This month of eight sees you expressing your authentic power. Yellow and purple will be beneficial colors to work with as your crown chakra and solar plexus will be lit up. If something doesn't work for you, rather than forge through unnecessary pain, your heightened awareness and honed intuition will have you finding a workaround or simply sidestepping it altogether. Why go that way when I can go this way? That is the question you'll ask yourself. Think smarter, not harder. Creative solutions are at your heels if you're willing to see everything as a beneficial learning curve. You'll feel a newfound sense of freedom and energy in going your own way. With this you may find you've got a little more pep in your step and feel realigned with your destiny.

Music will be your greatest ally this month as you allow it to support your self-expression and healing. Pan is a very earthy character and I hear a lot of drumming and rattling being encouraged. Sound healing will be a great form of meditation this month. And of course, time in nature. Spirit shows you laying outside and watching the leaves on the trees, the clouds, or the stars overhead. Enjoy those quiet moments of summer where time seems to stand still. The pace of life may be speeding up but in taking those moments you're able to press pause; it's a bit of a superpower Earth Mother gifted you. Pan's earthiness also signals something in your life becoming more stable. The ground may have felt a bit shaky but you can expect to feel your foundation start to solidify. Spirit reminds you not to judge your feelings but instead to allow them, just be with them wherever you are at and know that it's okay, even if it doesn't feel good. The more you resist or suppress your feelings the more power you give them. And this month of eight that supports your personal power and freedom allows you to flow through your emotions more easily, so take advantage. You are reminded that in uncertain times it is your faith and willingness to call in the spiritual support that allows for a smoother road. Ask for what you want, and then commit to it.

If we look at the eight energy of August and flip it horizontally it becomes the infinity symbol. Spirit shares that something sustainable is showing up for you. For example, this would be a month where you wouldn't just find a new job but a job that becomes a career. Or you wouldn't diet but make a lifestyle change. The earth element with the power of eight propels you forward in ambition and commitment. With that, there may be some unexpected engagements popping up this month as well. The flip side of the frustration of these times is that it reminds you what is really important. Remember to take time for you to self-connect so you don't slip into any imbalanced tendencies. Stay focused on what is being unearthed for you as opposed to digging your heels in and resisting the necessary adaptation. If you're willing to do so you might just unearth some buried treasure.
