In preparation for winter solstice, here is a channeled message from the elementals, followed by a simple ritual to enjoy Tuesday evening:
This winter solstice we place a hand on your beating heart. We remind you that this is where every good decision should start. Be not afraid of fearlessly letting go, but allow yourself to melt like a falling snow. There is no more room for anger, for judgment, and grief. It is time to call in the light and find healing and relief. A new day will dawn because that’s what they do. You have the power to awaken with it, if you want to. A fog serves a purpose, you’re not always meant to know. Without confusion and uncertainty, how much could you grow? Look through the storm to the light on the horizon. Close your eyes, bask in the glow, now place your hand on your beating heart, give thanks, and let’s go!
An easy winter solstice ritual is to leave a lit candle (can be an electronic one for safety reasons) in a window of your home on the eve of December 21st until the next morning. Light this with the intention of peace and rest as you willingly leave your past shadows behind you, reflect on all the strength, lessons, and wisdom gained from any challenges, and celebrate the return of brighter days. If you have crystals that represent the sun such as citrine or sunstone, they can also be a nice addition to place alongside your candle.
I wish you all a blessed solstice season. Here’s to renewed health, wealth, and happiness! May the divine light within you guide you forward on your highest path, and may the sun outside you illuminate your path with love, warmth, and grace. I thought I’d share a picture of my little solstice sweetie. ;) Parents, be sure to include your children in your ritual!
Mrs. McCullum – Health, Healing
Take care of the physical body through regular exercise, a healthy diet and sleep. A healer who uses their gifts to help others. Find harmony and balance with both traditional and alternative medicine, honour all aspects of the healing arts.
A quiet Christmas, a healing holiday. Spirit shows this as a month to slow way down and be as gentle and nurturing as possible. At year's end we always reflect and review, and this month that energy feels heightened, which is why a slower pace that allows you to take inventory of the past year is a necessity. Spirit encourages you to reflect deeply on all that has been brought forward and all that you have learned. As the saying goes, "The roots grow deepest where the wind blows strongest." Can you take the lessons learned, wisdom attained, and strength gained while at the same time letting go of the past shadows? Mrs. McCullum is a warm and nurturing character who is the local healer and loves helping others. What skills, likes, and strengths do you have that you might like to share with others? Focusing on applying these in a new light this coming year will allow you to connect with a new or deeper sense of purpose. With a focus on health and healing you may notice patterns being shifted around diet, exercise, sleep, and routine. As you "digest" the past year energetically you may notice you are extra sensitive to what you can digest physically. Take care of your physical body and rest when and where you can.
This winter solstice initiates a new healing energy rooted in a rebirth of optimism, where lightworkers especially will be called upon to rejuvenate their energy and enthusiasm for life. Spirit reminds you that you have the same choice daily, to feed the light or to feed the dark. This month supports you in stepping forward into the light. Spirit shows there will be continued instances that encourage people to be driven away from focusing outside of themselves and the desire to influence others, and instead encouraging them to go within and focus more on their inner selves. Change always has to come from within the individual and that is how outer change is affected. What personal healing changes would you like to make this coming year? The time is now, commit to the changes you wish to make, and ask Spirit for help. With the six vibration of the New Year people will feel more inclined to keep things private and close to home. Modesty will want to make a comeback this year.
The year 2022 will be one of heart, hope, and healing. Many people will find relationships reformed or long-awaited new ones formed. Others will be content to move forward and live simply, realigning and redefining their meanings of home and family. Embracing imperfection and enjoying the little things will be the heart and highlight of this coming year. After a couple of years of constant adaptation and uncertainty, this six-year will allow for more stability. I am shown a lot of "come to" moments happening for people. I see cathartic tears, realizations, apologies, reckoning and healing.
This month you have the power to heal old wounds and move forward with an open healing heart. This makes it an ideal time to reinvest in you and connect more deeply with your self-worth. I'm shown an image of someone walking naked into a lake in the dark of night and swimming towards the moonlight, temporarily diving under, only to re-emerge from the lake feeling reborn. Honour this winter solstice time of rest and rejuvenation before your awakening. This winter solstice season is going to be a mighty one, it's a turning point. Don't wait for things to be over, don't wish for things to be healed, but rather be the healing and be the light that is constant and steadfast throughout every experience, from the mundane to the moonlit and magical.
On the first of every month, I pull a card from my Faye Oracle Cards, which feature characters from my book, A Tale of Faye. I share what the card and character represent, as well as any additional insights my guides bring through so that you can be aware of the energy and make the most of the month. I also share any energy themes as I feel guided.
