The theme this week may have had you wavering, doubting, second-guessing, denying, and resisting. You may have felt like things had stalled from the necessary ebb that was happening. You may have noticed a resurgence of people from the past popping up. Or of people wanting to take you back to old ways of being or doing. This is about fear causing people to resist the new. It's about the fear of accessing the truth, doing the deep shadow work, of standing stark naked in your power in the face of change. This week's theme can be summed up in one sentence: It's time to accept your fear.
One of the most simple and effective exercises I recommend is to light a candle and invite your fear to sit across from you on the other side of it. You will intentionally face your fear as you voice it aloud. Fire element is the transformer and will support you in transforming any fears as they are spoken. The flame will carry the fear away and shift it into faith. Speak your fears aloud. Get everything off your chest: vent, rant. When you face the fear it will disappear, it will lose its power over you. When you deny it, suppress it, ignore it, you succumb to it, you give it power over you. After you've given your fear a voice with fire element supporting you, you can then shift into your faith. Now say aloud all that you desire, that you choose to create, that you know in your divine self to be true. Watch fire element as you do this, the flame will respond as you move through both the fear and faith. It may glow brighter or taller as you speak your prayer of faith aloud. It may give off more smoke or be smaller as you speak your fears. Once finished and having left things on your faithful note, feel how much lighter you are. You may feel your chest open up, your diaphragm expands, your head lifts, and your heart relax.
Let's see what are elemental friends want to share about this week's theme.
Channelled message: If you want to get truly comfortable then you first need to be willing to get deeply uncomfortable. Nobody always likes pain or challenge or change but there's a reason the saying is: out of the shadows and into the light. Look how resilient nature is! Look how a forest will burn and die and years later you forget what it went through because you are only admiring its regrowth. Don't discount yourself and your ability to embrace change. When there's a resurgence of old energy it's a bit of a test from the universe, for lack of a better term. It's a chance to say, no, I'm strong enough to look forward and hold my ground. I'll be alright. It's also a sign that people are having a hard time leaving the familiar behind. We seek to remind you that real safety is found in the embrace of change. It's found in the face of fear, as your exercise above. It's the illusion of safety that lies in the stale, the never-changing, the lull of the familiar. Look, we are believers that you can have it all, it's our way! But having it all, both the safety, the comfort of the familiar, as well as adventure, growth and excitement, requires both faith and fear. Not everyone's favourite recipe to be sure, but a successful one nonetheless. Fear is a great motivator and faith is the light that can never be put out. Honor both and the fear will be but one small reminder of how big and grand your faith is.
