Mrs. McCullum – Health, Healing
Take care of the physical body through regular exercise, a healthy diet and sleep. A healer who uses their gifts to help others. Find harmony and balance with both traditional and alternative medicine, honor all aspects of the healing arts.
This month is an opportunity to revisit and rewrite your definitions and experiences of health and healing. Have you viewed healing and taking care of your health as a chore? Do you find the pendulum swings to extremes and it's easy to practice self-care when things are going smoothly but harder to maintain when facing challenges? Which ironically is when it's needed most. Maybe you've focused your attention on developing your physical health but now your mental health requires the same focus in order to keep things harmonized.
It can be easy to get frustrated, annoyed, even angry at your body when things are not working as you want them to. But it's so important to remember that every ailment or lack of energy you have is your body speaking to you. Every health crisis or challenge is a call to healing and/or an opportunity to gain awareness and insight into yourself. When you can see it this way, it becomes easier to love your body and shift your reaction to any ailments. Rather than getting irritated and thinking 'What now?!' you can go within and ask 'What are you trying to tell me?' 'What needs my attention?' 'What do we need to heal and how?' Your body can become an ally working with you to create and maintain health as opposed to an enemy that is always giving you grief. I like to describe it to clients as, 'Your soul is the vessel of God's love, and your body is the vehicle for your soul.' Why wouldn't you invest as much time, money and energy caring for the vehicle that houses your soul as you would an actual physical vehicle you drive?
Mrs. McCullum is a character who is very warm and caring; she loves tending to others. Healing is fun for her, it's her craft. Spirit says it's time to let go of forced methods of trying to feel good. Explore what you like and don't like and why. Do this by going within, connect and communicate with your energy body. Access your soul, move your energy. You don't need to be out and about in order to feel and enjoy movement. You can move within your own energy body at will and access feelings of calm, lightness, freedom, and strength. This is a month of four, a vibration that supports determination, practicality, and hard work. Spirit has your back, and says this may be your month to access your health and view it in a whole new light. The saying, 'April showers bring May flowers' will resonate on a spiritual level. Energetically, you you may feel as if you're getting a rinse this month. Spirit says it has the potential to be a month lots of people will look back on and realize it inspired a lot of healing change.
On the first of every month, I pull a card from my Faye Oracle Cards, which feature characters from my book, A Tale of Faye. I share what the card and character represent, as well as any additional insights my guides bring through so that you can be aware of the energy and make the most of the month.
