Chief Nimble – Ceremony, Ritual
Create and practice a daily ritual, such as a morning and evening prayer. Connect with your guides through sacred ceremony. Work with the four elements and four directions of North/Earth, West/Water, East/Air and South/Fire to create transformation and healing. Of the above card meanings, the one that most stands out for this month is: Connect with your guides through sacred ceremony. You are reminded that you don't get what you don't ask for. And that you can't receive what you aren't willing to open up to. You'll always be given the answers if you're willing to ask, listen, and trust. Spirit describes February as a month where you will be called to dig deeper. Instead of soul searching, it'll be more of a soul dive. Notice the red colour and earth energy of this card, highlighting the root chakra. Chief Nimble is tribal energy that represents leadership, community, and authority. These aspects coupled with the root chakra energy mean you can expect an emphasis on things related to basic needs such as home, work, and safety. This is about going within to your heart space and then letting it manifest outside in the universe. If your emotional self is not connected to your outer world, your foundation is asking to be rearranged. Spirit shows me pressing shuffle on a playlist and trusting you'll land on the right 'soul song' for you. Is there anything you need to rearrange this month in order to find harmony? What root issues do you need to address? Are your inner and outer selves in alignment? Facing fears will come up this month as you are asked to access a new level of fearlessness. Purification is a keyword this month. You are asked to clean house, figuratively and literally. Open your windows and light that stick of sage. Get those crystals out in the sunlight, or under the moonlight, for a recharge. I like to describe emotional energy blocks as weeds. Until you address the root issue you're going to find yourself in a tiring cycle of pluck and repeat. So dig into root issues and be fearless about addressing material and necessary concerns. You deserve to feel safe and a sense of home. If you've been tending to your energetic garden and pulling weeds, hang in there because new growth is on its way. You can expect an exciting new bud to sprout up any time now. Pay attention to signs, and keep your eyes and ears open. Most importantly, don't quit right before the miracle occurs! You'll also notice the fire element associated with this card. Spirit may be turning up the heat but you are reminded that you are only given what you can handle. Don't be afraid to explore things and try new methods and approaches. Sometimes we need to know what doesn't work before we can access what does. I'm shown the word independence being highlighted. This month is designed to move you closer to your self and some long-awaited new beginnings. February is a month of two and I've always referenced the number two energy as a bit of a needed hug. You might be the one giving the hug, or you might be the one in need of it, but either way, let the internal and feminine side of the vibration keep you in a heart-centered space. This month is a meeting of the minds. Approach things with diplomacy and a positive detachment for optimal results. When dealing with earthy root issues it's more important than ever to trust your higher self to lead the way. One of my favourite visual tools is to picture yourself sitting on a mountain top with the ability to see the bigger picture from your higher self-perspective. Having your guides lift your vibration to this place will support you in progressing toward the most positive outcome.

Awaken Enchantment
The first of every month, I pull a card from my Faye Oracle Cards which feature characters from my book, A Tale of Faye. I share what the card and character represent, as well as any additional insights my guides bring through so that you can be aware of the energy and make the most of the month. Archives
