A heart-opening, embrace of Goddess and feminine energy. A strong sisterly bond, holding space for others, nurturing and maternal energy. Work with the moon cycles to sync your body and connect with Mother Earth. 

October is a month of one, highlighting independence and self-determination. Just as the leaves turn and release from the trees, you will be tying up any loose ends that remain as you near the end of the year. Things are coming to completion this month. Perhaps, after nine months, you'll be giving birth like me! Just saying, a pretty fitting card for our baby girl's month of arrival. ;) Or maybe you just finished writing the final instalment in your four-book series. Yay for my talented husband who did just that! The point being, big things that have been gestating for some time now are coming to a close. Don't sit on things that are done but confidently tie up the loose ends, there won't be a "better time." There's a beautiful balance at play of releasing and completing while moving forward and progressing. This can manifest as added support for any major transitions. You have the ability to feel very much in sync with your mind, body, and soul as you navigate transitions with positivity. Let your instincts lead the way.

Focus on beauty. Find the beauty in letting go. Find the beauty in change and growth. Celebrate the beauty of how unbelievably adaptable we are as humans. Honour the beauty of the soul creating and expressing itself through your mind and body. This will be a welcome month for introverts as you'll be encouraged to stay in, relax, and focus on integration. It's time to release any pressure, regroup, and replenish. Take time to enjoy the cozy fall energy and see this as a month to dive deep into your nurturing nature. If you've been working on that, and are just starting to get in touch with that gentler and more authentic side of yourself, it's a wonderful time to build upon it.

The meaning of this card is a heart-opening. Where can you further open your heart in your life? Yourself? Your romantic love? Communication? Friendships? Work community? Your body and health? Family? Abundance? You get the drift... It's time to let the old guards down, let the past patterns fall away, and let your authentic self receive. If you feel vulnerable and more emotional than usual, you're on the right track.

We've got a full moon on October 13th. What do you need to prepare for before the winter season hits? Provide yourself with as much comfort as possible. Maybe you prepare a stack of books to curl up and read this winter, pull out your warmest blankets to have on hand, stock up on your favourite spiced teas and comfort foods, again...nurture yourself. Allow your energy to flow with the seasonal changes. This isn't a time to wind up, but down. It's a time to release and rejuvenate. Be deeply present, give thanks, and celebrate all that you have achieved and brought to completion this year. Your 2019 journey is preparing to come to an end and this month you will be feeling all the feelings as they say. Spirit shows me an image of the story, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, emphasizing the part at the end where his heart grows three sizes. Have you been working your natural magic? Are you ready to feel your heart open up and let in more love than you ever thought possible? I hope so. And enjoy, because these moments in life are the rewards that remind you why you do the work in the first place. ​
